Training/Background
Upon graduating from Nottingham University Medical School in 1997 (1st Class Honours), Mr Brackley finalised his specialist training in Plastic Surgery in the United Kingdom in 2010. He completed his specialist training in the Northwest of England and was awarded the prestigious Poche International Fellowship at the Sydney Melanoma Unit (now the Melanoma Institute of Australia (MIA)) to further his expertise in melanoma and skin cancer management. Australia has the highest global incidence of melanoma and the MIA is the largest melanoma centre in the world. He has presented at numerous meetings nationally and internationally and has published widely in journals such as the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery (JPRAS), Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS), and Surgical Oncology.
In addition to skin cancer management, Mr Brackley has under taken a recognised cosmetic fellowship during his training and undertakes a variety of general plastic and aesthetic procedures.
